M.A.D.E. Finest From The Motherland
Making All Days Everlasting

ABOUT US

Rooted in Family. Built With Purpose.
MADE Finest from the Motherland was founded on family, heritage, and a deep respect for origin. Our coffee is grown on our own family farms and sourced directly from trusted partner farmers across East and West Africa.
This isn’t just where our coffee comes from, it’s who we are.

☕️ From Our Farms to Your Cup
We believe the best coffee starts at the source. By staying directly connected to the land and the people who grow our beans, we’re able to ensure quality, transparency, and ethical sourcing at every step.
From hand picked cherries to small batch roasting, each coffee reflects generations of care and craftsmanship.

🤍 Why We Do This
Coffee has long been one of Africa’s greatest exports, yet the people who grow it are often the least recognized. We created MADE Finest to change that narrative by building a business that honors farmers, uplifts communities, and delivers exceptional coffee without compromise.
We don’t believe in shortcuts. We believe in long term relationships, fair trade practices, and doing business with intention.

🌱 More Than a Coffee Company
MADE Finest is a specialty coffee brand first, committed to flavor, freshness, and quality. At the same time, we invest back into the communities we source from by supporting women led initiatives, education, healthcare access, and sustainable farm infrastructure.
Impact isn’t something we add on, it’s built into how we operate.

🌍 Our Promise
• Family owned farms and direct sourcing
• Specialty grade coffee roasted in small batches
• Ethical, transparent trade practices
• Long term investment in farming communities
Every bag represents respect for origin and pride in craftsmanship.

Shamsa and Matthew

Where East Africa Meets West Africa
M.A.D.E. was founded by Shamsa and Matthew, two people from opposite sides of the continent, connected by the same story: coffee, culture, and community. Together, Shamsa and Matthew saw the same truth from two coasts of Africa: Africa grows the finest coffee. But Africa rarely gets the credit, ownership, or profit. M.A.D.E. exists to change that permanently.

Shamsa Diahn
Co-Founder and CEO

Born on a coffee farm in Kenya, raised with the mountains of Elgon as her backdrop, Shamsa learned firsthand what farming truly means: not from textbooks, but from sweat, seasons, and soil. She watched women carry farms on their backs while receiving the least in return.
That memory never left her.

Her mission:
To create a global brand that finally honors African farmers the way they deserve.

Matthew Diahn
Co-Founder and COO

Raised in the cocoa and coffee regions of Liberia and Ivory Coast, Matthew grew up watching women do the work of an entire economy farming, caretaking, providing, surviving. He always says:
“Without the women in my life, I wouldn’t be the man I am.”
His dedication to women empowerment, fair compensation, and farmer equity is not a trend. It’s his lived experience.

“Matthew is from West Africa, Shamsa is from East Africa. The thing that both regions have in common is cocoa and coffee.”
